The quote for the week: Make a habit of two things: to help; or at least to do no harm.
Hippocrates

I hope that you all had a great Independence Day celebration.

We are going to have another good evening at The Woodbine Opry this Saturday night.  Our guests will be Joe Muench, T.K. Hilton, and John LeMaster.  It has been a while since John was able to be with us, and the guys in the band really enjoy having him back again.  It will be a good evening!

This week’s trivia question:  This Georgian has celebrated over 50 years as a recording artist.  This artist debut came on The Ozark Jubilee out of Springfield, Mo.  The popularity of this artist was first achieved in the United Kingdom where a little known English group, The Beatles, opened the performances.  This individual is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Rockabilly Hall of Fame.  Who is it?

Last week’s answer:  Bill Mack

A new page has been added to my site allowing news of Opry Friends to be posted.  Feel free to add information that you would like to share with other friends at this site:  http://thewoodbineopry.wordpress.com/opry-friends/

I hope to see you all at The Woodbine Opry this Saturday night.

Opry On!
